It has passed already 2 weeks since I've started to develop new habit. How is it going:
1. plan works pretty good, in the morning in any ordinary day I do meditate, but if it's in case of any exception... it's getting difficult. last weekend I had guest, so no space for myself and I had to skip one day, today I was a guest and also didn't feel comfortable to meditate in other house. Discipline can win, but you should know how to cooperate with it.
2. Trigger....well, i have a feeling of nausea, I guess so far it works the best for me, but I still searching for trigger :)
3. Well, i guess I fell that part, as I didn't feel comfortable to ask them and they didn't propose during our conversation.
4. it's not so difficult, but again I didn't involved to many ppl in that activities, so just some of them knew it and I tell them time to time my achievement.
5. I would never forgot to reward myself :) sometimes I can even eat 2 desert per day :P
next week I'm sure I'm going to keep meditation, no doubt, but now question of quality is coming out! as it's very difficult to have very high quality concentration time even 10 min, sometimes it takes longer, but so far quality concentration is not more then 5 min for sure.
probably it's one of the following steps to develop.
must go to bed, to insure that tomorrow can continue and wake up on time.
a space for sharing inspiring moments, thoughts, new discovering and ideas.

creating new habbints
It was a while, since I wish to start meditation every morning and couldn't really succeed. It does happened recently, usually over the weekend or some random work days.
Post "5 Steps to Create a New Habit" by Zenhabits encourage me to create a new habit. I want to have a new habit "meditate every morning 10 min."
There are my steps to achieve it:
1. Make a plan.
Every morning, get up out of bed, take a glass of water, go to bathroom, then 10 min. morning meditation. Usually the most challenging is to wake up 10 min early, to make it easier I must to go to bed on working day at 10.30p.m. or latest by11p.m.
my flat mate is very organized and going to bed approximately at the same time, so it should be my additional motivation or click point. Get enough rest is important for the quality day.
2. Choose a trigger.
Hmm...it's not an easy one, but one of the idea is to have one of the meditation pillow visible, as soon as I'm awake, then I can focus on it. although will work "create a trigger"
3. Get positive feedback.
I think I should ask my friends to check me out and question my daily achievements. Although it should be arrange as well.
4. Report your habit to a social group.
Probably posting on my blog can be consider as a "social group" :)
5.Reward yourself.
One of the things I would love to have everyday is my favourite desert "tiramisu", so every day during next 21 days I will eat it, as I did succeed morning habit and meditate 10 min!
why 21 day? because 3 weeks it's a min time to keep practising a new habit and to get to use to it. Knowing how to maintain the habit is may be even more important, then to create it.
I'm curios to go for it! of course I'm a bit afraid to fail, but it's not a right way of thinking :D
so today is 24th of July and my experiment should be over 14th of August, hopefully with positive result.
I would like to have an addition to meditate every morning at least 10 min.
Why do i want to do it?
It was a while, since i know the meditation technique and at time I've practising concentration, my mind become more sharp. Many things was much easier (decision making process, choices, focusing at one task longer etc), as emotions are less involved. I felt improvement at my professional performance, easy processes on personal life and mind somehow naturally become open, clear and kind of big.
I guess, a lot of new interesting ideas were popping up recently. After practising meditation I was feeling very peace, very kind and full of love. Me like the feelings of balance :) As far as I feel great now, I guess it can just get much better and explore event stronger.
One more thing, which I would like to test myself is improving memory. I have very strange selective memory:) as I'm starting my French classes in September and I would need to memorised a lot, it's important that my mind can keep concentration.
let's give a try :)

some scaring thoughts
recently I've realized I'm enjoying to be single.
not sure that I want to change this status, for me it's kind of scaring to realized it. Good thing is that I'm aware of it! :)
It like man is enjoying to have all beautiful women around and just play….
I guess it's ok, but just a bit strange for me :P
or may be I just haven't met you yet :)

first time
holidays by myself in Madrid.
always things happening first time. the last "first" thing for me was my holidays. I don't want to say that I have never had a holidays, I did, but never by myself and never in Spain :)
long story shortly, that holidays supposed to be family holidays, but my father couldn't come and mother didn't get visa on time...so with a short noticed I've realized that I can go to Madrid and spend 5 days by myself or just simply cancel trip and stay in Brussels with the disappointing feelings. some of my friends really lovely pushed me to try travelling alone; motivated me that I'm too social and would never be alone in Madrid and that friends of friends will meet me up show around etc. well decision was taken :)
Before I went there I had a strange mode...a bit upset that my mum couldn't come, as I haven't seen my family almost 1 year. a bit tired from work and more over I haven't travel for awhile and missed it a lot.
so I went for adventures :) you never know before you try...and I do never regret... and I was glad that I had enough courage to go:) it reminded me my first try to live by myself...how much I was scared and how tough it was, but eventually it turned in a good experience.
Thursday around none time I said: "HOLA MADRID" it felt sunny and hot! you simply want just smil:)
I haven't been prepared much for the trip, just bough some travel guide in airport (never buy anything in airport, it's twice expensive), took my new book for pleasant moment of reading and printed out the name of hotel. First page told me that people don't really speak English and I even had no spanish / english translator...it was an adventure, but gladly i don't get frustrated if I can't understand people and their language...my curiosity sleeps deeply on that topic :S Although I have to admit I like how does Spanish sound...."rrr".
i've been walking all days around. apparently Madrid is very lovely city, with beautiful parks, nice pubs, cafeterias, the oldest restaurant in the world is located in Madrid as well!!! very traditional place, a bit expensive, although food is really delicious there.
I joined "Free Walking Tour" as usually guys are hilarious there. If you travel alone and want to be surrounded by some people for awhile, just get in touch with them and you will have fun.
On top of sightseeing tour you can get Tapas crawl and Pub Crawl. Well I managed to try real local food, touch to history and to see night life of Madrid. Can't complain, it was simply great distraction for my calm and peaceful days :P
things which looked wired for me:
1. you can recognized local women always, as they wear high boot, often dark colour. I guess they just simply miss long winter time :P
2. Local men you can meet in pubs starting from 1p.m. or so by drinking beer or sangria :)
3. if you are not local you wouldn't get Tapas for free in pub!!! except that you ask it and keep smile :)
it was interesting to discover:
1. I would rather spend time with myself and enjoy it, then be surround by 1000 people and feel lonely :)
2. Travelling alone it can be fun.
3. Sometimes I miss myself by being with some special person.
already thinking when I will be back to Madrid or at least Spain. it's a lovely place to be...at least for a short holidays for sure! :)

commitment
I guess one more world coming along to my way, it's a commitment. it feels so good to do things with open heart, when you don't afraid to be stupid or strange, or vulnerable.
It can be scared, especially after such uncertain life style I used to have, but if I want to settle down, probably it's a good thing which happening to me.
I really hopping that such openness help to defined a passion, as it's cut off all possible barrier.
so enjoyable to be yourself and not afraid of it, although sometimes it's still doesn't work fully...
wish to feel commitment in all areas of my lie.

something new or just curiosity?
it's always nice to try something different, something what you have never tried of visit places where you haven't been. of course it should be beyond the bounds of decency :)
today discovery: Resto.Bar.Gallery "Le Passage de Milan". would really recomend for chill out, date, small gathering.
thanks to everyone who inspired my curiosity.
me like it :P

Inner voice
You can call it intuition or GOD feeling or just luck or what ever you want, just name it somehow. But I guess everyone would admit that to have such adviser and reliable one is an adventure. :)
Sometimes I do have it and it's a really strong one and as soon as I don't think about it, don't analyse it, just follow it I do get what I wished (nothing so huge and material, but small, pleasant or something very useful). On a moment I stop and asking my God feelings about something, its gone...
To be aware about your feelings helps to keep balance and feel that everything is on a right place & right time, but to manage that, it's a challenge.
I question myself time to time when I had the powerful moment of my intuition? or was it just games in my mind, which became truth? or something else? just visualisation or dream? so far it turns up that when I meditate and practising concentration, staying relax and calm the sensation is so obviously strong.
Today a couple of small moments reminded me that I can feel much more things behind. It can be scared in some point, you think you know person without knowing him/her, most probably many people have experienced it.
Although I try to look at inner voice as on a good adviser and probably I should let it speak up and listen to it more often.
"Your time is limited, don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinion drown your own inner voice. Everything else is secondary." - Steve Jobs

developing habit of stability
well, a while ago it would be totally strange to think that stability would ever attracts me, but everybody changes :)
I've just arrived from short 3 days meditation course (Vipassana) that time it was absolutely different experience, next post may be will have more about it or unique feeling of getting pleasure from serving. As usually I couldn't write down my thoughts, but the most important ones stayed :)
It feels like I wish a stability. Definitely before it was not time for that, moving from country to county, searching for job, having undefined relationship and starting new life every time in new country/city etc. It was an amazing experience and I have already a lot of stories to share with my grandchildren :) but now it is a time to put everything on an order of stability.
Stability is not necessary boring routine or a luck of craziness or an adventure in life.
what is it? or how does it look like for me?
I would rather compare Stability with fluctuations on a market. Stock during the life always has moments when price remain the same and it's absolutely fine. The less market has volatility and the longer fluctuations then stock is more reliable.
Have to admit that is my comfort zone is to meet new people, to start new job, new relationships, to set new goals etc. Every "new" time it's easy to decide then from now everything will be on a right way (like at school, always start from 1st of September or new semester or new disciple :)
But I wish to get to know other part of me. How to be with the same person more then one year (I guess I already forgot it), how to stay committed to job more then one short term project, how to hang out with the same people for long time.
Talking about people, in some point I even think I don't have friends any more or I have them so many, then none is getting enough of my attention...or with a distance relationship and friendship connections are getting weaker...
so it's clear in my mind that STABILITY is my word for now :) and I'm going to develop habit of stability. Think on a way of stability, have a relationship which are defined, act on a way of stability and create stability around me:)
p.s. truly happy and grateful.

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I've ever written . My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first pay check.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'

33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come...
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.

admiring
The story of today is about one small girl. As every child she is curious about the life and everything what is happening around her. The house for her now is a whole world, but she knows it's bigger and her feelings push her to follow of the life adventures.
She looks on a map and asking about new places and when she can visit them, she looks on books and wishes to read all of them, she looks on a sky and wants to fly...
She likes rain and sun, she likes winter and summer, she likes any food (hot or cold) she is just happy to be alive and live life. She doesn't have a lot of deep thoughts or prepossessions, she is just simple and curios, is not a generosity? she follows her inner wishes and GOD feelings. She plays, asks, enjoys, laughs, loves, helps and stays happy.

happy grown ups

write it all out so you can move forward
Since January this year I started to write constantly my thoughts. some times everyday, sometimes ones in two or thee days. Now with my crazy life style I do it every Sunday (I don't want to say that I don't like it, I love it, but sometimes it's too much even for me).
I'm too social right now and quite lonely as well. I guess my best friend is my notebook,a couple of year ago I would say it's not me or it's not my style, I guess i've changed a bit :)
my main conclusions about writing for that time are:
* writing positive emotions helps you keep great memories and focus on a good thing, thoughts etc.
* expressing negative emotions, helps you to come over and lets it go, not always since the beginning, but in general it does.
* recently discovered that some simple things make me grateful and I'm happy for that.
* keeping the main goal in front of you. I guess it's very important.
so, going to write my great memories and thoughts :)
in some point I guess I will keep posting some of them :)

Poetry

grateful for day the full of love
today was a very special day!
I even can't explain, seems to be ordinarily day of my life, but I feel so happy and full of love!
started a bit later then I wanted, had to skipped sport&meditation and to join my father for breakfast. Then I went to library, there get freeze, as soon as I went out warm sun, just shining and made me smile. I remembered such a nice Estonian moment when each sunshine made us extremely happy and excited :)
lately managed to join my father for lunch and have a nice discussion, we catch up with mother online. it's good to spend a quality time with parents, enjoy the conversation and manage to discuss even difficult topics. I have convinced that my parents are so modern, love them.
I recently found out, that if someone is out of my parents house, then I miss that person, extremely miss like my mother & sister right now. But when I'm not in Sevastopol I don't feel such commitment..., don't know how to explain it, but I hope my mum will be back this week :)
then studding again and recent chat with some friends, mails, nice talk really made my day. I feel how happy and luck I'm to have friends all over the world, to share my ideas, thoughts and feelings. I guess I come over the social presser :) or may be it's just impression because I have more less clear picture about my future... :)
anyway I feel full of love, I'm again so excited and energetic. I am very grateful to all my friends and family members :)
I feel like SS again :) great (thx Nadya & Yat Wan for that) :)
now I have to finish book ;)

Wall Street :) ........

when you don't feel like and ready to stop
"You only truly fail if you don't learn from your mistakes.
Along the road to success a failure can serve as a valuable
lesson to you. There are just some things which are out of
our control and we should not worry too much about them.
As much as you plan for things not to go wrong in your
business, things will inevitably go wrong. That's Life to you.
As long as you don't let failure stop you dead in your
tracks, it is nothing to worry about. It only takes one
success to wipe out all your past failures. When you find
success in your personal or business goals, those failures
will seem less important."

62 WAYS TO MAKE 2010 YOUR BEST YEAR YET
Last 2 month, probably were the most unpredictable and challenging for me for last a couple of years or may be even 5 years. I still have a lot of thought, crazy ideas and I keep moving in different directions, but step by step I'm getting to my way :) I will try to expres the story, feelings etc in my blog someday, so far I just keep it in my notes.
Got some inspiriting from Robin Sharma today and would like to share with you.
62 WAYS TO MAKE 2010 YOUR BEST YEAR YET
1. Remember that leadership isn't about your position. It's about your influence.
2. Get fit like a pro athlete.
3. Lift people up versus tearing people down.
4. Protect your good name. An impeccable reputation takes a lifetime to build. And 60 seconds to lose.
5. Surround yourself with positive, ethical people who are committed to excellence.
6. Remember that even a 1% daily innovation rate amounts to at least a 100% rate of innovation in 100 days.
7. Believe in your dreams (even when others laugh at them).
8. Measure your success, not by your net worth but by your self worth (and how happy you feel).
9. Take an intelligent risk every 24 hours. No try-No Win.
10. Read "Buffett: The Making of an American Capitalist".
11. Watch "Man on Wire".
12. Regardless of your title at work, be a team builder.
13. Remember that business is all about relationships and human connections.
14. Say "please" more.
15. Say "thank you" more.
16. Know your Big 5: the five things that need to happen by the end of this year for you to feel its been your best year yet.
17. Read your Big 5 every morning while the rest of the world is asleep.
18. Read "As You Think". At least twice this year.
19. Be willing to fail. It's the price of greatness.
20. Focus less on making money and more on creating value.
21. Spend less, save more.
22. Leave everything you touch better than you found it.
23. Be the most positive person in every room you're in.
24. Run your own race.
24. Stay true to your deepest values and best ideals.
25. Write a handwritten thank you note to a customer/friend/loved one every day.
26. When you travel, send love letters to your kids on hotel stationary. In time, they'll have a rich collection to remember your travels by.
27. Read "Atlas Shrugged".
28. Be a problem solver versus a trouble maker.
29. Rather than doing many things at mediocrity do just a few things-but at mastery.
30. Honor your parents.
31. Commit to doing great work-whether anyone notices it or not. It's one of life's best sources of happiness.
32. Give more than you receive (another of the truths of happiness).
33. Have your 1/3/5/10/25 years goals recorded on paper and review them weekly.
34. Be patient. Slow and steady wins the race. The only reason businesses that went from zero to a billion in a year or two get featured in magazines is because 99% of businesses require a lot more time to win.
34. Underpromise and then overdeliver.
35. See part of your job as "a developer of people" (whether you work in the boardroom or the mailroom).
36. Wear your heart on your sleeve. When people see you're real, they'll fall in love with you.
37. Be authentic versus plastic.
38. Read "The Alchemist".
39. Remember that life wants you to win. So get out of your own way.
40. Consider that behind every fear lives your next level of growth (and power).
41. Eat less food.
42. Drink more water.
43. Rest when you need to.
44. Read "SUCCESS" magazine.
45. Write your eulogy and then live your life backwards.
46. Demand the best from yourself.
47. Remember that the more you go to your limits, the more your limits will expand.
48. See everything that happens to you as an opportunity to grow (and therefore, as a precious gift).
49. Be obsessed with learning and self-development.
50. Become comfortable alone (you are the only person you get to be with your whole life).
51. Smile. It's a stunningly effective way to win in business and life.
52. Reflect on the shortness of life.
53. Be bold when it comes to your dreams but gentle with those you love.
54. Remember that success is dangerous because it can kill drive/innovation/passion and going the extra mile. Be successful yet stay hungry.
55. Read "The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin".
56. Be of deep value to this world.
57. Own beautiful things but don't let them own you.
58. Use excellent words.
59. Laugh more.
60. Don't complain, gossip or be negative.
61. Plan as if you'll live forever but live as if you'll die tomorrow.
62. Feel free to pass these lessons on to those you want to help.
p.s. live in the paradise ;)
